The featured section is completely separate from the main search directory. The position of an entry in the featured section is determined by its 'rank amount', this is the number visible in brackets and represents the amount paid. It's a position auction so the more you pay the higher you'll list.
 
The 'rank amount' allows you to decide exactly where you want to be placed based on the amount that you pay. It is not a recurring or monthly fee. It is paid once and can be added to later if you wish to increase your position. The higher rank amounts are positioned higher on the featured results pages and the lower amounts are placed lower. If two or more entries have the same rank the oldest will appear first in the results.
 
The minimum amount and increment payable is £5 GBP, after receiving your application we will send you a PayPal invoice. (A PayPal account is not required as credit card payments are accepted without one).

If you have an existing featured entry and would like to increase your position please use the increase rank form. Note: The minimum increment is £5 GBP - you'll only be charged the difference between your existing rank and the new one.
